EcoMom and celebrity dad, David Arquette join forces to feed children in America.

We may live in one of the wealthiest nations in the world, but did you know one in five American children go to bed hungry?

Well, celebrity dad and actor, David Arquette is working with Feeding America and ecomom to change that. Together with co-founders Jody Sherman (CEO) and Emily Blakeney (Chief Mom Officer), they are championing the “It’s All Good” nation-wide giving initiative to feed children across the U.S.

Ecomom, an online retailer, will be donating for every purchase made through (no matter the dollar amount) three healthy, nutritious meals for a day for a child between the ages of 4 and 18 months. The goal is to feed at least 100,000 hungry children in the U.S. this year. Nearly 1 in 5 American children receive emergency food assistance each year (3 million of who are aged five and under)

“The first year of solid foods is arguably the most important in our lives,” said Dr. Alan Greene, MD, FAAP, Founder of and ecomom board member. “Babies and toddlers’ growing bodies and brains are built from the food they eat, giving them healthy amounts of great food is one of the bests gifts we can give.”
