This is sad. A study by Clicks and Cravings shows moms would rather crowdsource recipes than rely on their mothers. Some of my favorite moments are cooking with my mom and cooking with my daughter. 59% of the moms studied said they used online or social media to search for recipes in the last 30 days.
Here’s some food for thought from the study: don’t mistake a “like” for love. Moms usually like a brand’s page for the coupon or offer. Brands will to work for the love.
Great personal example of a brand who understands the earning of love is Hershey’s Kisses. My daughter baked cookies with Hershey’s Kisses recently and posted the photo on her Instagram page. Hershey’s found it, looked for her on Twitter and engaged in a conversation. They sent a handwritten note along with a Hershey’s Kiss key ring. They now have a fan for life.
