Little did I think 2 years ago, that first blog post would grow to into a robust twitter community, a Facebook page, a YouTube channel, partnerships, speaking engagements, a dedicated #MILFF (Moms I Like 2 Follow Friday) following complete with branded t-shirts, a fashion show at Lincoln Center and so much more.

When you first start writing, you stare at the blank page and think, “what am I going to write about? Will anyone read this? Who wants to hear from me?” And more important, once you start something you can’t stop. OMG! I’ll be blogging for the rest of my life once I put this out there. But you start with one post a week. Then it’s two and then three and before you know it, despite a full time job, you’ve written 300 posts and tweeted 26,261 times. Whew!

And I want to thank everyone who reads my thoughts and for all the generous support and kind words many of you have sent my way. It’s what made me fall in love with social media – the power of connections and relationships.

It’s been an amazing journey so far. Here’s to 300 more posts and having you with me every step of the way. We’re in for some big changes this year, and I can’t wait to share all the news with you. The first big step is that the Mom-entum blog is stepping out on its own – you can now read Mom-entum in its entirety, with near-daily content coming from me, at www.momentumnation.com.
