Well, ladies who enjoy being tech savvy, how sexist do you think this poster is?

It appears we only use technology to help us find men and shop and other stereotypical things. I would be mortified if I was Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook to find myself portrayed as part of this, particularly in light her recent viral video that is inspiring women all over to rethink how they approach business. I shared it with every female at the office and numerous times over Twitter. But on this poster by WPromote her image is attached to copy associating her with responding to emails in a timely manner and wishing friends happy birthday while still having time for a dinner party. Wow, what every woman wants and hardly an accurate portrayal of the influencer Sheryl is. And Natalie Messenet, founder of Net-A-Porter; Caroline McCarthy, tech writer for CNet,com; and Sarah Evans, a PR pro must be equally horrified.

Did they read any of the studies out there on women/moms and their digital/technology use? I’d be happy to send links to help enlighten then.

I could go on but I think this infographic speaks for itself. But this is a perfect example of why I am inspired every day and write this blog.
